Infrasat — Investment in expansion and improvement of its servisses

Luanda – The Business of Angola Telecom Unit (INFRASAT) will invest in the near future, in improving the coverage of the signal of mobile and fixed telephony operators and provide internet service in the most remote regions of the country.

 

The company in 2015 reached a turnover of 27 million dollars, an amount that provides hold in 2016, said the assurance of data transmission for large corporations and expansion of rural telephone service with affordable costs and challenges of the company.

With this type of betting the company will meet its targets that pass by fighting digital divide and contribute to the country’s development in the field of ICTs, said the Executive Director of Infrasat, Diogo de Carvalho, during the eighth anniversary celebration act from the company. It said that this intention arises from the appeal made by the Executive, as regards the need for Angolan companies become more creative in attracting new markets and contribute to diversification of the national economy.

To achieve this challenge, he said, the Infrasat will adopt, starting this month, a new corporate identity that includes a new slogan set the strategic objectives set by the current direction.

He explained that the idea is to provide the company with a new format that allows you to lead the market of new satellite communications technologies, aiming for greater intervention capacity of their services in the country and some neighboring countries.

Diogo Carvalho assured that with the new corporate concept, the company aims to lead the telecommunications satellite market in the country and provide businesses and individuals a high quality service. The director justified optimism with the goals set by your company in compliance with a broad Angolan government program that provides for the introduction of Angosat in 2017 and thereby popularize the use of new technologies of communication and information.

He said that most invoicing come from mobile operators and medium and large companies throughout the country.
